Vaelion of Ocris is a Bulgarian author of literary speculative and philosophical fiction. His work stems from a period of personal re-evaluation that began in 2015, during which he explored religion, philosophy, and the structures through which people seek meaning. Over time, these inquiries evolved into a broader examination of memory, identity, language, and the narratives that shape human experience.
In 2020 he briefly ran a philosophical blog, which helped refine the ideas that would later form the conceptual foundation of his books. The blog’s quiet readership — engaged but largely silent — confirmed that these themes needed a different form of expression. This realization led to the creation of The Unwritten Path, the first book in The Witness Cycle.
Today, his writing focuses on the intersection of thought and narrative, blending speculative frameworks with philosophical depth. He prefers to let the work speak for itself.
